Bio
Pamela Holm has spent much of her adult life eking out a living as a free lance artist. Her stellar occupational milestones include painting needlepoint patterns, installing neon, designing luggage, enlarging photos from weapons tests sites, decorating sets for rap videos and sewing hats for the Pillsbury Doughboy. She currently teaches creative writing in San Francisco.
Pamela Holm’s essays have been published in The San Francisco Chronicle, The Denver Post, The Fresh Yarn, Violet Magazine and various other publications. The Toaster Broke, So We’re Getting Married was published in hardcover by MacAdam/Cage in 2002, and paperback by Villard in 2004. The Night Garden was published in hardcover by MacAdam/Cage in 2005.
